The law, in plain words
Who certifies: you, and what we prepare
the liability question, answered before procurement asks
Reflow prepares and documents. You certify. That split is not a disclaimer, it is how the product is built: the certify step refuses to run until every image in the book has a human decision on it, and it refuses to run without a typed certifier name.
What you can show if a claim is challenged
- The audit trail: every machine action and every human decision, with timestamps, in order, exportable as CSV or JSON.
- The validator output before and after, from EPUBCheck 5.3.0 and Ace by DAISY 1.4.6.
- The draft and the final wording for every description, so an edit is visible as an edit.
- The named person who certified, and the date, written inside the file itself.
That evidence is the deliverable procurement actually wants. A claim without it is a sentence; a claim with it is a record.
